SIOUX FALLS, SD —For the third year in a row, U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals for 2023-2024 were ranked Sanford Fargo Medical Center North Dakota’s #1 Hospital and Sanford USD Medical Center South Dakota’s #1 hospital.
The annual U.S. News & World Report rankings are published to help patients decide where to receive care. U.S. News evaluates data from nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 21 adult procedures and conditions.
Sanford USD Medical Center received high-performing rankings in three adult specialty areas, including Gastroenterology and Gastroenterology Surgery, Orthopedics and Pulmonology, and Pulmonary Surgery.
In urology, gastroenterology, and gastroenterologic surgery, Sanford USD Medical Center ranks among the best in the nation when comparing these specialty services with health care systems across the country.
