Jesus is a very powerful name among other names. All over the world, people call the same name Jesus; whether in America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Jesus is the only name given to men by which people can be saved. When Jesus performed the sacrifice of redemption, God gave him a new name: “Lord.” Lord means absolute owner (Psalm 24:1). Jesus came as Savior, but He is exalted as Lord. The reason for his crowning as Lord is found in Philippians 2:8, which says: “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even unto death. death of the cross. » The Father has placed his seal of approval on the self-sacrifice of the Son by exalting it and bestowing upon it the superlative name which is above every other name.
Jesus is exalted because he died and rose again. If Christ had not been raised from the dead, our faith would have been vain, empty, baseless, and empty. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:14, “And if Christ is not raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain. »
Jesus prophesied about His death and resurrection before either event actually happened, as He said in Luke 9:22: “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the scribes, and be put to death, and will be raised again on the third day.
From ancient times to today, many people have tried to replicate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but it has never ended well. The man called De Lawrence died mysteriously while trying to become the new Jesus.
According to him, he said that there was not much regarding the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. After his death, his disciples began to tell people, according to what he had told them, that he would die and resurrect after three days like Jesus Christ. Amazingly, he died and rose again on the third day, but as he was about to rise from his grave, a powerful thunder rose from the sky and struck him to death.
There is no other name that can match the name of Jesus. Since the creation of the entire world, certain names have clashed because their existence on earth was temporal.
These names included those who initiated and fought great wars like Adolf Hitler, great world leaders like Nelson Mandela, great philosophers of their time like Socrates and Plato, great scientists who invented great things like Thomas Edison who invented the electric light bulb, founders of religious movements. , great educators and great cultists. But the name of Jesus Christ is eternal because he lives forever and the whole universe still celebrates him to this day (Hebrews 7:24-26).
Salvation is found under no other name than that of Jesus Christ. If you are seeking salvation, all you need to do is embrace the name of Jesus Christ and be saved. Someone said he belonged to two churches and was asked why he belonged to two churches? He said that if one church didn’t take him to heaven, the other would, but he was making a mistake because no church can take someone to heaven.
