BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Here’s the road construction update in Deschutes County for the week of November 19-25.
Hunnell Road: improvement of Loco Road to Tumalo Road (turning area) – Signage work will take place along Hunnell Road. The work will include the installation of sign support pads and permanent signs.
Traffic information – Shoulder closures will occur on Hunnell Road Monday through Wednesday. Road users should expect delays. Hunnell Road also remains closed to through traffic between Loco Road and Rogers Road. Local residents should access Bowery Lane from US Highway 97.
Public works on Powell Butte Highway and Butler Market Road (turn zone) – Underground utility work will take place near the intersection of Powell Butte Highway and Butler Market Road.
Traffic information – Single lane closures facilitated by flaggers will occur along Powell Butte Highway and Butler Market Road. Road users should expect delays of up to 20 minutes during working hours.
US Highway 20: Tumalo – Cooley Project (turning area) – Various trimming and cleanup work will take place near the Cook Avenue-OB Riley Road intersection and the US 20-Old Bend Redmond Hwy intersection.
Traffic information – The US 20/Old Bend-Redmond Hwy and US 20/Cook Avenue roundabouts are both open to traffic. Intermittent roadworks will continue near both roundabouts until November. No work is scheduled for Thursday, November 23 or Friday, November 24.
